Wow! first week done and over. it was only two days the students came on Thursday, but it was a great start! this is the HOTT orange shirt the faculty wore on the first two days of school.

I dont think it's that bad like some may. I was just grateful that i didnt have to think too hard about what i was going to wear on day one! my students seem to be ready and accepting the fact that summer is over. This week was kind of CRAZY we had a totally off schedule, but we made it through. we start normal tomorrow! :) We've just been doing the basics get to know you things and get to know the school. My goal this week is to get to know all of my 157 student's names. I have a few down already, but the popular names this year are Madison, Mason, Dillon, Rachel (spelled in lots of different ways) I have lots of same names in my class so it will be an adventure trying to keep the last names straight :) I love my school! it's like i'm part of the family! i love it! everyone is such a big help. and i've made lots of friends with the staff already!I've also had some wonderful friends come out and help me set up my classroom. THANK YOU!!!!
Next item of craziness.....there are some changes being made in the YSA stakes here in Cache Valley. I'm trying to get relief society all organized but it's difficult with the start of a new school year and all the other changes that are coming about! but it's a definite learning experience! i'm enjoying it! Things seem to be working out great! slowly but surely it will all come together. that's a comforting part of this gospel. Everything has a plan and it will happen one way or another.
Other random thoughts: I miss Vegas. I'm missing my little brother's football games and my adorable nieces and nephews. I wish i could be there for Bentley's blessing! I am loving Logan! Sarah stayed with me for a week while she was homeless. i miss her already! I love teaching and staying busy! it's a great feeling to have a routine again and be getting into new habits :)
