Objectives:
1. Students will be able to make and use a map to locate specific places in and around their home.
2.Students will be able to write an explaination of how to get from point A to point B to someone unfamiliar to the area.

what will their task be?
The student(s) will create a map of their home, there will be two things they accomplish using their map. First they will choose two different locations in their house and write specific directions from point A to point B. The second activity that they would do would be in the classroom. They would give their map and directions with starting location but not ending, to one of their classmates and their classmates will have to follow the directions to see if they get to the location intended.
They can do this several times.
